20BYGH Stepper Motor
A hybrid stepper motor is designed to combine the advantages of permanent magnet and reactive motors. It is divided into two phases, three phases, and five phases, with a two-phase step angle of generally 1.8 degrees, a three-phase step angle of generally 1.2 degrees, and a five phase step angle of generally 0.72 degrees. The rotor of a hybrid stepper motor itself has magnetism, so the torque generated under the same stator current is greater than that of a reactive stepper motor, and its step angle is usually smaller. Therefore, economical CNC machine tools generally need to be driven by hybrid stepper motors. However, the structure of the hybrid rotor is more complex and the rotor inertia is large, so its speed is lower than that of the reactive stepper motor.
